It’s officially the high water mark of the kitchen creativity calendar at Village! All year our cooks experiment with different sandwiches for themselves and each other and then one month out of the year there is a full-on competition! The winner is chosen by you – whichever sandwich sells the most sticks around for an additional month. The current leader is the Hello Son Bison Burger – grilled bison on an onion bun Jacob’s house dressing with swiss, bacon, and fresh spinach. Our house sliced ham baked on a sub bun with diced onion, mozzarella and cheddar, crisp iceberg lettuce, and bacon.

Yet Another Award Winning Sammich
Grilled steak, onions, and banana peppers topped with mozzerella cheese along with a smear of mayo on a buttered and toasted sub bun.

The Big Melt
Classic grilled cheese sandwich spread with mayo and grilled onions stuffed with a ½ pound beef patty and bacon.

The Big Buff Chick
House made buffalo sauce atop chicken tenders on a sub bun spread with ranch dressing, diced onion, pickle, crisp lettuce, special sauce, melted mozzarella, and a drizzle of hot ranch.

Sweet Grilled Cheese
White bread spread with butter on the outside and loaded inside with a sweet cream cheese spread and strawberry jam.
